ADB Experts Forum on Market Mechanisms for Sustainable Transport

Objectives:
The ADB Experts Forum on Market Mechanisms for Sustainable Transport explores several new proposed mechanisms to capture externality values for sustainable transport projects. Specifically, the value capture initiatives to be discussed include Energy Security, Health Benefits, and Accident Reduction. During the Experts Forum, ADB consultants and staff will provide an overview of the concepts and note the current phase of the initiatives. The Forum will largely be an open discussion in which to garner feedback and inputs on the concepts as well as assess the feasibility of value capture for sustainable transport projects.
