Financing Sustainable Urban Transport – Bridging the Gap from Planning to Implementation

Objectives:
The objective of this course is to sensitize participants on key challenges related to financing urban transport systems. Some of the questions which will be addressed in the learning event include:
• Finance for what?
• Finance for whom?
• Finance by whom?
• Finance: how (short-term/long-term modalities)?
Furthermore the course shows examples of good and best practices particularly useful from the developing country perspective.
